Manage your translation workflows

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to translating your content. Transifex lets you set up and use the translation workflow you need.

Configure translation workflows

By default, projects in Transifex start with a two-step workflow: translate and review, along with the option to autofill from Translation Memory.

For projects requiring more complex workflows, Advanced Workflows gives you additional options and control over how content is handled during each stage of the localization process.

Translation Memory Autofill

Automatically use 100% TM matches as translations whenever new content is uploaded.

Automation Machine Translation PREMIUM

Run MT automatically whenever you add or update a file, so it’s immediately ready for review or use.

To use this feature, you’ll need your own Google Translate or Bing Translator API key.

Proofread PREMIUM

Add a second review step to the review process and ensure translations meet your quality requirements.

Prevent translators from editing work done by others, so translations are not accidentally overwritten.

Engage your community through crowdsourcing

Let your user community suggest translations and vote for the ones they think are best. For each string, the suggestion with the most votes will automatically be used as the translation. To ensure quality, you can require a minimum number of votes before a suggestion is used.
